I am a highly experienced licensed clinical social worker with a diverse background spanning various educational and clinical settings.
​EDUCATION AND ACCREDITATIONS
I hold an MSW from the University of Chicago, with a concentration in family systems theory, and a bachelor's degree in American Studies from Colby College.​I maintain licensure as a LICSW in Massachusetts and professional certifications and continually seek professional development in various practice areas, demonstrating my commitment to excellence in social work.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Private Practice:​ At Andover Counseling Center, I conducted psychotherapy, created treatment plans, and liaised with community resources for diverse clients and families.​

School Settings: My extensive experience in public schools includes a two-year stint as a high school teacher in Cambridge, MA, and six years as a School Adjustment Counselor at Medford High School, where I handled diverse caseloads, conducted therapeutic groups, and provided crisis intervention. I actively participated in transition planning and served on special committees. Additionally, I worked as an adjustment counselor at the middle and high school levels in both private and public schools in Newburyport and Hamilton, MA.

Hospital Settings: I worked as a unit social worker at Beth-Israel Ana Jaques Hospital’s in-patient adolescent psychiatric unit on weekends, helping new patients and families acclimate to the inpatient setting, conducting intakes, assessments, family therapy, group therapy for patients aged 13-18 (DBT AND CBT), resource planning, and case management. My role as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker/Autism Resource Specialist at Boston Children’s Hospital Developmental Medicine Center involved supporting families, conducting psychosocial assessments, and connecting patients with community resources. I was the head author of the Autism Consortium transition guidebook, “Transitioning Teens With Autism Spectrum Disorders: Resources and Timeline Planning for Adult Living,” and co-led parent support groups and Applied Behavioral Analysis.

Community Mental Health: As the Clinical Case Coordinator at The Guidance Center, Inc., in Cambridge, MA, I worked with young children who had experienced significant, complex, and multi-generational trauma. Treatment modalities included play therapy, art therapy, and behavioral therapy. I worked with homeless adults with major mental illnesses at the Thresholds Dincin Center for Recovery in Chicago, Illinois, while in graduate school.

In my spare time, I walk my dog, Jack, and spend time with my two hilarious, kind children. I love music, concerts, comedy TV, reality TV, reading novels and poetry, crazy wallpaper, Taylor Alison Swift, Phoebe Lucille Bridgers, and painting acrylic pictures for fun and self-expression.
